Three days full of culture, music and more

Photographed from a stage, you can see a large crowd of people holding up their cell phone lights. It's late at night, the stage lights are shining brightly. The 102 Boyz are on stage, one of them is sitting on a bar stool.

From 13 to 15 June 2025, Chemnitz will once again be transformed into a colorful festival site. There will be plenty of music, art, sport and exciting activities around the Schlossteich - and for the first time also at decentralized “satellite” locations. Concerts, panel discussions and showcases by initiatives, associations and companies are on the program. As always, admission is free of charge!

The music program leaves no wishes unfulfilled:

Juli: The band around front woman Eva Briegel touches with her unmistakable voice and hits such as “Perfekte Welle” and “Geile Zeit”. Their powerful songs full of energy and melancholy have sold over 1.5 million albums and conquered the charts.

Disarstar: rap with a statement. Disarstar talks about social injustice, gentrification and the fight for a fairer Germany. His lyrics are direct, political and full of energy - just right for anyone who not only wants to listen to music, but also feel it.

Lena&Linus: Indie pop meets touching stories from life. With their charming and unagitated style, they sing about bittersweet anecdotes and personal moments that touch us all.

Paula Engels: Her tender voice and honest lyrics tell of difficult subjects such as addiction, self-doubt and fear. She manages to wrap these emotions in catchy melodies while creating an intimate connection with the audience.

Ami Warning: With her unique sound, she mixes soul, reggae and pop to create a soothing tapestry of sound that clears our heads in stressful times and transports us to a more relaxed world.

In addition to a pop-cultural music programme, KOSMOS thrives on the wide variety of topics and the countless activities of associations, organizations and initiatives. These include, for example, the project “Tracking the inner clock” by the Max Planck Foundation and the interactive drum installation “Beating the Drum” by artist Andrew Unruh as a contribution to the Capital of Culture project “Living Neighbourhood”. Walden e.V. and Konnektonauten e.V. will impress with a new version of the Urban Highline, and the SFZ Förderzentrum will show how leisure, culture and inclusion belong together with “ZusammenKlang”. The “Mile of Initiatives” has become firmly established at KOSMOS, where local and international associations and NGOs present their work on important contemporary social issues.

Further details and numerous other program items from the areas of society, art, sport and business will be announced in the next program wave.
